The Tylaska T5-T16 Stepped Taper Knurled Shackle Fid is the tool for opening Tylaska trigger snap shackles quickly and safely, even when the line is under heavy load. It is machined from solid aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, knurled for a secure grip with wet or gloved hands, and finished in black anodizing.

The stepped front taper fits Tylaska T5 to T16 trigger snap shackles as well as many other brands. A through hole at the back lets you attach a lanyard or wrist leash so the fid doesn't go over the side. An essential piece of kit for bow crew.
