Custom Running Rigging

Custom Running Rigging from SendIt SailingWelcome to SendIt Sailing, where we understand that every sailboat is unique and every sailor has specific preferences. To cater to your individual needs, we offer custom Sheets, Halyards, and Control Lines. Ordering is simple – just send us an email!

When composing your email, please provide us with as much information as possible for each line you wish to order. Here are some examples to guide you:

  • Label:
    • Is this a Main Halyard, Jib Sheet, or something else?
  • Brand, Size & Model of the boat.
  • Materials:
    • Choose from our range of options: Economy Line, Inshore Performance Line, Offshore Cruising Line, or Grand Prix Line.
  • Diameter:
    • Kindly specify the diameter of the line you require. If you're unsure, you can use calipers to measure it. If this line runs through a rope clutch, please provide the clutch size as well.
  • Finished Length:
    • Please inform us of the overall length of the line after all splices are complete.
  • Taper:
    • If you desire a tapered line, please indicate the length of the covered section and the tapered section. The sum of these lengths should equal the Finished Length.
  • Shackle Installation:
    • Let us know if you'd like a shackle installed and specify the type: Main Halyard Shackle, Snap Shackle, Trigger Shackle, or Soft Shackle. The more details you provide, the better.
    • If you prefer, you can send us your current shackle, and we will install it for you.
  • Non-Working End:
    • If this is a halyard, would you like a messenger eye installed to allow you to tie a messenger line when installing the new line? b. If this is a sheet or control line, would you like the end whipped?
  • Color:
    • Please indicate your preferred color for the line.
  • Additional Information:
    • Feel free to include any other necessary information or special requests.
  • Duplication:
    • If you would like, you can send us the old line for duplication. Please remember to label this line.
