About Us
SendIt Sailing is a family-run business on Johns Island, South Carolina, built by people who'd rather be on the water than anywhere else. What started as a love of sailing and a frustration with hunting down the right hardware from a dozen different suppliers turned into a store built around one idea: make it easy for every mariner to get the gear that actually works, from people who use it themselves.
We serve the whole spectrum of sailors. On one end, that means outfitting competitive race teams with the blocks, rope, rigging, and instruments they need to shave seconds off a leg. On the other, it means helping a kid who just wants to get out on the water for the first time find a properly fitting PFD and a boat they can actually handle. Both customers matter to us equally, and we've built SendIt Sailing to serve both without either one feeling like an afterthought.
That's why you'll find everything from Harken blocks and Spinlock rope clutches to Garmin electronics, Zhik apparel, and gear for optimist dinghies all under one roof. We carry the brands we'd put on our own boats, and we price and describe every product the way we'd want it explained to us: honestly, with the specs that actually matter, and without the fluff.
Being family-run means this business runs on the same values a family does: show up, do right by people, and fix it fast when something isn't right. If you ever have a question about a product, a fit, or whether something will actually work for your boat, reach out. There's a real person on the other end who sails too.
Fair winds, and we'll see you on the water.
