The Spinlock XX-LCK kit upgrades an XX0812 Powerclutch to the lock-open version (XX0812/L). With the lock engaged, the line runs freely in both directions with the handle closed, which is important for spinnaker and mainsheet applications where locking is only occasionally needed. The XX0812/L also releases the jaw automatically when the load is taken on a winch.
