The Spinlock 1 Clip & 1 Link Elasticated Performance Safety Line (Tether) is a lighter and more compact alternative to traditional safety lines. It features an easy-to-use, lightweight clip with a wide opening gate, as well as a webbing that has been 'dry coated' to reduce water absorption and maintain a lighter weight for longer periods of time. The inclusion of an overload indicator adds an extra layer of safety. Both the DW-STR/03/C and DW-STR/3L models comply with section 5.02.2 of the Offshore Special Regulations, requiring all crew members to have a tether with 3 points of attachment for category 0, 1, 2, and 3 races. The orange and blue colorway, designed for 2022, is compliant with World Sailing and ORC standards.
