The Harken 16mm High Load Block is Harken's smallest block, sized for the thin synthetic control lines on high-performance dinghies and skiffs. Harken's patented bearing system, with stainless steel balls running in a captive grooved race, keeps the sheave spinning freely under load, and it's rated to a 500 lb working load. An O-ring holds the line in the sheave when load comes and goes, so it won't jump the sheave in lulls or during tacks.

It weighs just 10 g (0.33 oz), which makes it a good fit for cunninghams, outhauls, vang cascades, trapeze adjusters and other fine-tuning systems where every gram counts.
