Rigging Tape - White - 1" x 15'

C. Sherman Johnson's riggers-grade, self-amalgamating rigging tape (Rubbaweld) is the tape that made rigging tape popular with sailors in the 1970s, now back in production. Use it to cover exposed cotter pins, ring dings and other sharp hardware that can snag or tear sails, chafe lines or cut crew.

Applied as directed, the tape fuses to itself into one solid wrap. It has no adhesive, so there's no sticky residue during application or removal. It also handles heat well enough for emergency repairs such as patching an engine water hose.
