Designed to help sailors and power boaters protect key areas of a boatÕs deck and superstructure from abrasion, chips, scuffs and wear, our wear pads can be applied wherever there is a need to protect a boatÕs finish without compromising its appearance. How to fit wear pads - Ensure that the surface is perfectly clean; remove all traces of dirt, salt, moisture, and grease. For rough surfaces, ie. nonslip deck surfaces, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper for better adhesion. Align the pad and trim to size with scissors if necessary. Press down firmly with a hard-edged plastic tool which is the full width of the pad or disc to provide the necessary pressure at the point of lamination. Supplied in a pack of 2.
