The Allen Vang King (Size 1) is a telescopic gas strut, specially designed for use as a boom support system and in conjunction with a purchase system to create effective Vang control. It features a 37.8mm plain bearing sheave at the top end, specifically engineered to handle the required load for yachts up to 26ft. The Vang King also has a unique attachment post at the base with reinforced holes and stainless steel ferrules for dead-ending rope or attaching blocks. To adjust the return pressure, remove the base plug and use an Allen key to open the grub screw. Please note that this is a one-way process and the strut cannot be reinflated.
