This product is known as a threaded titanium deck bush, also referred to as a through deck fairlead, rope guide, or thru-deck bush. It is designed with two small holes to be secured with circlip pliers, making it easy to tighten onto the surface. This design not only protects the surface from wear, but also accommodates for various thicknesses. For added security, a bonding agent can be used to keep the bush in place. Typically used to guide ropes or wires through surfaces, it is highly durable and ideal for carbon surfaces. Unlike Aluminum, titanium does not react with carbon, making it a suitable fit without the need for an electrolysis isolating sealant.
