The Large Aerovane is specifically designed for vessels up to 28ft in size, making it ideal for use on larger dinghies, sport boats, and keelboats. Its built-in counterweight ensures precise readings of the apparent wind angle, preventing side-to-side "flapping" in strong winds. The tacking tab system is adjustable and allows for clear indication of both downwind and upwind angles, which is especially useful for boats with spinnakers. The Aerovane is designed to be both large enough to read easily and small enough to minimize drag. Its white pad-printed underside provides contrast against the black plastic, making it easier to read from the deck of the boat. To install, simply push the Aerovane onto the rod until you hear a click; to remove, pull with force from the rod.
