Prevent damage to your ILCA dinghy with our specially designed nylon wear protectors. These pads easily clip around the traveller fairlead and are secured in place by friction and the traveller rope. With no overhang on the gunwale, snagging is not possible. The smooth transition ensures the mainsheet block easily rides over the pad. Each purchase includes both a starboard and port protector. Follow these easy steps to install: loosen and remove the traveller line, slide the wear pad around the A.282A fairlead, and push until you hear a faint click. Once the traveller line is reinstalled and tightened, the pad will stay in place thanks to the friction from the "mouth" piece around the fairlead.
